Yeah, this is interesting. Not many things released later in the week for retail that I can think of. But seems like you had a mellow visit on Thursday!

All I ever hope for on our yearly vacation, gonna be there this coming week. Every year I hope for nothing limited that may draw the crowds. Makes the place even more special when its laid back. Will you visitors this weekend please just leave me some Mary, thanks and cheers.

Anyone get a look at how much Damon was left towards the end of the day today?

Went earlier. Stood in line before they opened. Staff was great, beer was phenomenal, as were the views. But what up with all those f’n gnats? I was attacked while standing in line. A few actually bit me.

It was a nice experience, except for nature’s pests.

Thank you! I had no idea. I knew it wasn’t the place’s fault, but man was that annoying.

Thinking about making the trip up on Wednesday. Do they have stemmed glassware available or is it still out of stock?

When I was there last weekend, they had the new-ish stemmed glasses with the Hill logo wrapped all around the middle of the glass.

I believe they stopped selling the logo stemmed, bulb Durobor brand awhile back due to inconsistency in quality, at least that’s what I heard.

The new one is the one I was hoping to pick up. Thanks for the info!

It's etched but the etching is the "regular frosted" type. It looks a bit irregular/spotty with nothing in the glass and even more so when filled (pretty much regardless of beer color). Also, it is an odd size at about 14.25 oz. Like the shape and the style but wish the logo showed more prominently.

Is this the glass you're talking about?

I know what you’re talking about. I think the etching shows up great when full, obviously stands out more with darker beer, but when it gets wet or condensation forms, it’s harder to see. I love it though. I’ve been using that glass pretty much every day since I picked it up.

I've always just love the willi becher's they use. Perfect smaller size and it feels so comfortable holding it, not too small not too big. You see pint willi's at lots of breweries but I feel like HF is the only one i've seen the smaller (25 cl?) ones.

Suarez Family uses that size as well. And I agree, good size.

Yeah love them and they’re rather hard to find. The perfect beer glass in my mind. I personally hate drinking beer out of stemmed glasses though.

I just picked up a 12oz willi from Oxbow over the weekend. Slightly different shape than the HF ones, but I dig it. Has a good heft to it.
