No worries. Keep a close eye before you go as the offerings change.

Do note though that their IPAs are always growler fills and not available in bottle format.

Get there before it opens, especially on a Saturday. Otherwise prepare for a 2 hour wait.

Enjoy, brings lots and lots of cash. (No plastic accepted at the Hill...and you're going to want to get a lot.)

How long before opening to avoid the 2 hour wait? About and hour or two?

Go on Wed or Thurs, Sat mornings guys are off and standing in line for 2 hours for Abner sounds like a good idea.

Can you use your own growler to get fills or do you need to buy one of theirs?

I frequent HF as I live 30 minutes away. Go on Thursday. It's consistently shorter lines than any other day. Saturday is always crazy. That being said, the beer is worth the wait.

Haha, if you have to get there 2 hours early to avoid a 2 hour wait, are you really saving any time?

Haha I think about this every time I see people "avoiding" lines...but alas as you mentioned sometimes you waste more time than just bearing the line lol

I heard the longer you wait in line, the better the beer tastes.

I've seen other people use different growlers so I assume it is fine.

I remember the girl saying they only fill brown glass growlers. I think there were a few other things she mentioned too, but if I remember right, their growlers are fairly inexpensive. Who wouldn't want one?

You can bring any growler as long as it isn't clear. Yes, they'll fill one painted blue. If your non-HF growler needs a screw on cap, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN as they never have any on hand. They also won't wash your growler and will refuse to fill a dirty one. Their 750's are 3 bucks plus the cost of beer and the 2L are 10 plus cost of beer.

    They don't bottle their IPA's.

Best days to go are Thursday > Wednesday > Friday > Saturday.
