I plan on going to the brewery soon and I was wondering what brews they bottle.

They sometimes have the Everett in bottles, hands down my favorite porter anywhere.

i think we should be seeing everett again fairly soon. Kegs have been tapped around town for a few weeks, so there's probably some in bottles conditioning, and I imagine they'll go on the shelf after F&T sells out

Just noticed all dates have been removed from the upcoming bottle release page. I'm wondering if this means bottle releases will be unannounced from this point forward.

Could be. I think it is more to allow them freedom/flexibility in timing releases. Rather than say ABC beer will be available on XYZ day, and then determining it isn't quite ready and having to delay, thus causing mass disappointment amongst people who had planned ahead to travel for it etc.

I believe they still will post dates, but just much closer to the actual release date, like they are doing with Edith. But of course this is just a guess on my part.

Are bottles available outside of the brewery? Distro?

The dates were always estimates anyway. I believe Double Barrel Damon has been pushed from February, to March, to May...and now who knows. Removing release dates from the Retail page on the site is a great reflection that they'll release beers when they're ready. It was always like that anyway.

As long as I know when Flora w/ Mandarins is getting released, he can do whatever he wants. Also, the Flanders Red. The Oude Bruin with walnuts too. And regular Flora. CD#6 also sounds like it may perhaps just be worth the trip to HFS.

SOMETIMES bottles are available, in very limited quantities, at some of the more well known bottle shops (Hunger Mtn, Beverage Warehouse, etc) but the brewery is the only place that always has HFS.

Talked to the beer manager at one of the HFB-distro sites - he said the 5 Sciences Beer (Fantome/HFB collab) is being re-released after attempts to further condition it and rouse the carbonation - Shaun said it failed to do so but they are going back out anyway. I see they are for sale at the brewery now, so at least you know what you're getting into. It was flat as a pancake a month ago, but still tasty. You know, like Fantome can be. :astonished:
