Anyone know if it will be released this year and if so, when? Im trying to plan a Vermont trip and would love to time it correctly. Cheers, Cyrus
tip: find a trader, acquire some bait over the year that they want from florida, let them get damon if it comes out, you bring out what they want, then casually enjoy the dozens of world class beers that will be available all over VT (including at HF) during your trip. also, no idea if it's being released again. for what it's worth, the double barrel and port barrel were amazing, and the straight bourbon barrel was possibly the best BBA stout i've ever had.
Ive had the BBA version. Aquired through similar means as you suggested. Just not in Vermont. Id like to be there for the release though. Ill bring a bunch of Florida bait to share along the way.
It was brewed back in December 2013 (and again in February of this year) but no one really has any idea the next time it will come out. Most likely it won't be for a while given its absence in the upcoming bottle releases page. Shaun also mentioned at one point that he had bottles of the first batch Double Barrel left over for on-site consumption whenever the new retail shop opened.
