Hill Farmstead Distributing to Albany?

    Heard of two bars in the greater Albany area that will be tapping Everett tonight. I think each has one keg, so I don't think this is the beginning of a trend. However, I've heard for a while that HF was coming to the region, so I wasn't sure if someone locally had more insight.

    HF occasionally sends out kegs to NYC/Philly - we just got Arthur kegs at a few bars this week, so this is probably from that shipment. Shaun's actually been sending out a lot more HF kegs that he used to - we have gotten 3 - 4 shipments in the last 12 months (Florence, Anna, Everett, Edward).

    I regretted posting this immediately after. Wasn't trying to create a frenzy, was legitimately curious as I've heard from various people that HF was expanding distribution beyond VT, so wasn't sure if this was going to be a regular thing or not.

    I wouldn't expect this to be "regular", but maybe every few months a very limited number of kegs hitting preferred bars in NY seems likely. When the expansion is complete, Shaun has said that he hopes to be able to send kegs to Boston/Philly/NY more frequently, and start selling kegs of Edward to the public again at HF by summer 2015. Bottles will still be for sale on-site only.

    Peekskill Brewery never has any HF on guest tap so if you see it listed on beermenus or elsewhere it is a damned lie!

    No idea - I've never heard of the place honestly - not sure how many beer geeks are around that area. Give them a call.

    Also, some more HF being tapped this weekend in Brooklyn.
