Hill Farmstead FOFA

I'm staying at the Highland Lodge in Greensboro. Anyone else staying at Highland? I'm bringing a few things to share on Friday night.

 

I am staying in Waterbury and on the waiting list for the second bus. Hopefully it fills up. Otherwise I will need to find another way to get up to Hill. Anyone out there that didn't get on the bus in previous years have tips on alternative ways to get up there?

 

Just wrote them, I'm looking for 4 spots.

If neither of us get on the bust maybe we can work out some sort of car pool. I know there are some taxi services in the area but splitting it two ways is wicked pricey.

 

I'm going, staying in Waterbury, on the first bus. Really excited. Would be down to meet up with some people and enjoy bottles the night before or road sodas day of

Hope to see something this week on the list. Glad I'm able to make this years. Hoping for good weather. Seems like I go every other year. Weather is usually great.

 

anyone have a place/know of a place for Thursday night before for 3 people? Might want to extend the weekend.

 

Where are people thinking of doing a bottle share Friday? I will be at the Best Western in Waterbury.

**FOFA 2017 CHARTER BUS**
(aka Bang bus, aka brewbus, aka juice caboose)

**SECOND CHARTER BUS ADDED. **

*Due to expressed interest of 30 people for additional charter, a second charter for FOFA will be offered*

2 Large luxury charter busses will meet behind the Waterbury Train Station at 8:15am on FOFA day. There is plenty of room for parking. This is the same lot where the Alchemist had their truck sales. First bus will leave promptly at 8:30 & arrive at 9:50ish. Second bus will leave shortly there after, 8:45(ish)-9 and arrive about 10:15/30.
This first bus will accommodate both CW Breakfast ticket holders and straight FOFA ticket holders. The busses will remain on site for the duration of the festival and will be available to hold any bottles purchased from the retail store prior to entry. Hill Farmstead retail store opens at 10am. Entry to the festival is at 11:30. Festival begins at 12pm.
Charters will leave at 4:30 Promptly and arrive back at Waterbury at 6pm.

Cost will be $37.50pp RT. Payment secures a seat.

Will I be able to store bottles on or under the bus?
*Yes. Plenty of room to do so. Go nuts.

What Time should I get to the parking lot?
*If you want to be on the first bus, get there before 8:15. The first bus will leave when full or promptly at 8:30. Once the first bus has departed, the second bus will be boarded and leave about 8:45-9am.

What type of transportation is this?
*This is a 50 seat luxury charter bus. Comes with on board restroom, above seat and under bus storage, stereo & DVD entertainment and more.

Can we imbibe on the bus?
*Although the bus is being coordinated separate from Hill Farmstead, they reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone they deem as intoxicated prior to entry.

 

Are there still seats left on the bus?

There's a room available at the highland lodge for Aug 4-6 if anyone is looking, up to 3 people, 10 min from HF.

 

What is the situation like at HF the week leading up to FOFA? Picked over since they're preparing for the fest? I'm not attending, but was thinking of heading up with a friend on Thursday (8/3) and wanted to make sure it was going to be worth it before taking the days off.

 

Are you staying at highland lodge? I still need to figure out a DD... the women working at highland when I looked my room said someone at the lodge might be able to accommodate and drive people to HF.
