They usually release Vera Mae the weekend of FOFA, but as I understand this year's batch is not ready yet.

Do all the visiting breweries run out of beer every year? Why not just have everyone bring more?

Well almost everything people bring is really limited and they probably want thing to run out so they're not stuck with a bunch of half full kegs

Only HF and SP were pouring out of kegs this year, so bringing more cases of bottles wouldn't have been a bad choice for the other brewers.

I only went to last year's FOFA but it sounded like this year's was far different in terms of how long stuff was available. It seems like Side Project was told to bring more beer this year but every other brewery was told to bring less. A good number of breweries if not the majority were still pouring at the end of last year IIRC.

It was a well run event and there were only a few things I missed. Nearly everything was still available 2 hours in so unless you were spending your whole time in SP's line you got what you wanted. I chose to do that and missed a couple SP's. American Solera going out as one of the first was only a surprise to me as they rarely had a line build-up, but were my first stop and I went back for seconds on Farm Truck.
