It appears that Hill Farmstead beers will be available in Philly somewhat regularly.

First, I was at Monk's on Thursday, and Dorothy was on the tap list as an upcoming beer. The list said that Monk's would be getting or offering one HF beer at a time.

Second, the Churchville Inn had a big HF event on Thursday: Dorothy, Society & Solitude #5, Excursions #3, Mary, and one of the Works of Love with earl grey tea. As of last night, and I was super surprised to see that all of these were still on tap! From Churchville's facebook page: "It is a privilege for us to announce our new permanent/ semi permanent draft line featuring Hill Farmstead. We look forward to sharing a variety of their world renown beer with you in the near future!"

Finally, Bru had an event yesterday, and I believe it was the same beers that Churchville got. No idea as to whether they will also be getting them regularly.

In sum, being a beer geek in a great beer city just got even better. I know these beers have been shipped down for Philly Beer Week and other events, but it looks like they'll be here much more often.

To add to this....Teresa's has/had Dorothy on tap now/recently and TJs has Dorothy (they're on their 2nd keg) and 4 others in the pipeline. The pipeline kegs are the same churchville and BRU have. My guess is that Monks has them as well. This is amazing news and obviously thanks to their recent capacity upgrade.

Sabatini's in Exeter PA got a keg of Mary and they told me they should start to see one HF keg per month from Bella Vista

Tria Taproom also had Dorothy on tap earlier this week.

CJ's Bottle Shop in Lansdale had an assortment of bottles including Grassroots Brewing. I was celebrating something so I shelled out the bucks but it's great to hear I'll see more on draft around the city and region.

Any idea if they're still around? Might have to stop by on my way home.

The Beer Store Malvern had Dorothy on tap last week. Sales were by the glass only. No word on other HF offerings in the future there.

I grabbed the last one Friday. I took a risk and waited a whole week, not surprised they moved fast, but as far as I know it wasn't included in a 'new bottles' list. She's usually pretty frank if you ask her when to expect to see something again, but I did not do so this time because I don't anticipate spending 28$ again outside of a special occasion.

I am not certain bottles are part of the plan, actually think those are being sold without HF permission. Only rarely do they sell bottles outside the brewery and when they do it has only been a location or two in VT. I may be wrong but just my thoughts based on actively following them.

Station Taproom had Dorothy on this weekend, hopefully HF will be a regular there along with the Tired Hands we get there too.

I had a similar suspicion about the situation but I was hoping to feel optimistic about it when I saw the thread. the abnormality of the bottles did not strike me until much later.. they do seem to have great connections, but typically with local breweries so that is likely not the case here as you said. it's not quite my nature to be naive, so even in lieu of proof I'm think you're correct.

Back in 2011 (I think) there were bottles of HF that were distributed to Phildelphia via the proper channels. Since they've really taken off we've only gotten draft through out the year, but never bottles. I'm not saying the above were distributed properly, but they have distributed bottles to SEPA in the past.

4 drafts still on at Brü. They told me today that they will have a permanent(ish) line going forward. Exciting.

I just drank a few 13 oz pours of Mary yesterday for $5 at a local spot. I am loving all the HF popping up Philly & the 'burbs.

Is it me or is it weird that it seems to be mostly Philly suburbs that are getting the HF beers, not Philly proper?

Seems like they are popping up in the city and out. There are a lot of people (and great bars) in the burbs too.

Bru, Monk's, Bottle Bar East all have some now. Bainbridge I'm sure probably will too soon as they usually get some.

Liberty Taproom in Exeter PA said they engaged in a contract last week as well (this being Exeter PA in Berks County). They have had a couple kegs on tap in the last couple weeks.
