I guess it was the first batch then. It was before all of the hysteria. They had no problem filling the Ephraim growler, it was just a mix-up.

I think the prices at The Pig are very reasonable and the food is really tasty. Black Back has always seemed pricey to me too.

 

PP is not pricey considering what you are actually eating and drinking. It's completely worth it.

 

Yes you did, cause you cut the 20 or so rest of us who were waiting freezing outside ahead of you.

 

We showed up around 830 and were first in line.

 

There was no one waiting outside, just some people sitting in their cars, including people making sandwiches, or standing around cars in the field. Not a soul standing around by the barrels/entrance. And 20 sounds like a bit of a stretch, unless some people traveled via clown car.

 

I was right behind rudzud in line and not he nor my wife and I , cut anybody.

 

I cut everyone by showing up 2.5 hours early...

That's what happens when you get a hotel room, eat chinese food at two AM, and then you can't sleep. We were on the road from Stowe at 730.

 

Eating Chinese food always makes me feel like I smoked bad weed. I just felt like sharing that.

Bingo. I believe we were actually hanging out in line chit chatting when people decided to actually join us in line instead of lounging in cars. You were actually the only person I saw from the line near us actually do anything after the release (ie, swinging by The Alchemist, Blackback, etc.).

I mean hell. When we (my car) showed up, we spent 10 minutes standing by my car being cold, then had time to be told by an employee to move the car further down to maximize parking, and STILL leisurely stroll over to the retail store entrance to start a line.

 

Are any of the beers released this past Saturday still available at the brewery?
