So, trying to figure out what people may suggest. We are in Rome for 3 days before hitting the cruise ship (aka can't bring bottles with me) and I want to find a few bottle shops or bars to enjoy some beer. We will be staying in the Ostiense stop area and anything in walking distance would be great as I doubt I will have much energy or ability to convince the wife to go beer hunting with me with our tour schedule. I have found Bir&Fud and the Ma Che Siete Venuti bar as fairly good options but I doubt walking distance. Any other suggestions?

    thanks

If you're staying in Ostiense, check out Eataly! It is a short walk from the station.
Here's some of the pics I took of the place during our trip:

Ernie, I had seen 4:20 and was thinking that as well but SF, that looks awesome I think that may be a winner since it will be only 10 minutes walking distance from our BnB. Thanks much.

I'd second Eataly Roma as well.. kind of toursity and a little pricey, but they do a good job at showcasing local beers. They have decent groceries there too.
