Are there any decent bottle-shops in Holland, MI or the surrounding area? I'll be visiting next weekend and I'm hoping to leave with some 750ml's, or at least a growler or two from Our Brewing. Not sure if I'll be able to make it to GR.

    Thanks.

    Butch's/King Cove/Repetes are good choices.

If you're in Holland...my recommendations are:

-Kings Cove: Decent beer store in the area. Nothing to rare though
-Big Lake Brewing: If you're going to Our Brewing, please check out Big Lake on the other side of Holland. Best brewery in Holland IMO
-8th Street Grille/Hops: Not sure if Hops is open as I haven't been in Holland in a month??? But 8th St. Grille always has great beers on tap at great prices.

Hops has most of it open. It's awesome.

Very good to know, I will be in Holland visiting family over Labor Day. I will most definitely give it a visit then. Thanks for the heads up!!!

Same here, their taplist looks pretty good.

Also...if you can make it to GR, you won't be disappointed at Founders. I always make it a point to grab a pint of Red's Rye since, I believe, nothing beats that fresh on tap at Founders. Plus they still have Dissenter and their new West Coast DIPA on tap. Can't go wrong...

If you creep out to GR and are looking for a decent bottle shop thats a bit closer than some of the other GR bottle shops, D Schulers in Grandville is decent. They're a bit overpriced in my opinion and their selection in comparison to Rishis and Sicilianos isn't as great but it's closer to Holland than the others.

Good to know, thanks. There's talk about visiting Marie Catrib's (so good) and Brewery Vivant and if that happens I'll try to hit some of the GR shops. Probably won't be able to go to Founders though.
