I don't know if anyone else shares my feeling, but I had one of these a month ago and it tasted like licorice....blech. Now I remember Panic Attack being great last year, has anyone else tasted one recently they felt was subpar?
This is probably best suited for the South Atlantic forum, but personally I haven't had Panic Attack yet, so I can't be of much help there. I have noticed some variance in the special golden and mack in black in the past, though. Contract brew can be like that.
