Yeah, a lot of people ended up getting just 1 Phosphene, probably only 100 or so got 2 for their allotment.

I appreciated HM cutting the limit down so more people could get one.

In case anyone would like to know, Midnight Still is aged in 13-year old Elijah Craig barrels

The beer was pretty close to flat at the anniversary party. The bottles might be different, but don't assume anything.

Maybe these "Still" beers need their own style?
American Double / Imperial Flat Hype Ale:

    Description:

The American Double Flat Hype Ale gets some of it inspiration from failed homebrew, but is more than likely due to a problem with fermentation. Many of these are barrel aged, mostly in bourbon / whiskey barrels, while some are infused with coffee , chocolate or the tears of tortured unicorns. Alcohol ranges vary, but tend to be quite big, bigger than traditional Carbonated Hype Ales. Most tend to have muddied alcohol flavors, non existent hop levels, and more residual sweetness to the point of treacly. Very full-bodied with no or very little carbonation . Usually very highly priced and sought out by connoisseurs that can taste rarity and hype.

Possible addendum: Taste and carbonation are rumored to be improved if Hype Ale is consumed from previously unused, branded, brewery specific, 4.61oz glassware that is traditionally smashed against the ceiling upon completion of the pour. If a multi-pour format bottle, multiple glasses are to be used.

I believe those are exempt from the smashing guideline. Don't want a flotilla of walekows armed with clamguns and Elkrods chasing us after all.

We smashed them all. Thumbed our nose at the 'whaley' trading/selling/stockpiling scene, and had it backfire. The humanity.
We also just really like cows with find and whales with udders. And elk surfing, I'm told.

Can someone enlighten me on this whale cow glass. I know a lot of people wanted it (i mean who doesn't want a de Garde glass) but is it rare or was it from an anniversary? whats the deal?

Whale cow was a taproom glass, wasn't from a party.

You'd probably be asked to leave if you tried to camp overnight. Just show up in the morning on Saturday and don't overthink it.
