Currently drinking a bottle of an oak aged version. I see on the label it was aged with Brett. Is it normally a brett beer or just this version? Only other version I've had (or any other HM beer, for that matter) was what I think is the "standard" version at E9 a couple years ago. I don't remember it being bretty but I'm constantly reminded I am getting old and forgetful!

I think it's always been that way.

Always this way. One thing I noticed that is different is that one bottle of mine said aged in oak barrels and one said aged in an oak foudre. I assume that the foudre version is the newer version, but I didn't mark/label them so... (shrug)

This bottle says "aged in oak tanks" on the label just below the name on the front, but says it was "aged for four months in an oak foudre " in the boilerplate on the side.

Funny. I was less used to Brett when I had it at E9 back then, so I would have expected it to stand out more so back then, but it didn't. <shrug>

Maybe my taste buds were still dominated by the "Berliner-Dog", or whatever they called it, that I'd had at Red Hot. Curry Ketchup can be a powerful thing.
