Registration just opened up for the National Home Brew Competition.

Who all and what are you registering?

    I registered my Raspberry wheat.

Just finished my registration for three beers - a Belgian Strong Dark Ale, Coffee Stout, and IPA.

Looks like things are already filling up fast.

I'm registering a bunch this year.

Gentleman Jack O'Lantern - A pumpkin spice Scotch Ale aged on Gentleman Jack Daniels soaked oak cubes.

Sweet Christmas Monkeys - A pretty straight-forward Weizenbock with big banana/clove aromatics.

ParadoxicAle - A sort of all-over the map session beer. It's a dark, 3% ABV rye and wheat beer with a slight bit of sour malt and sea salt to give it a bit of a Gose-like zing.

Snakebite - A hybrid beer/cider make with black currants.

I kind of blew it this year as far as beers I wanted to brew in time for NHC. Right now I am going to send a double ipa in 14c, a passionfruit berliner weisse under category 20 (fruit beer) and a bretted saison under 16E (belgian specialty)

Just out of curiosity what categories are you entering these in (other than the weizenbock)?

For those that registered, hope you paid up front. If you haven't paid within 24 hrs of registering your entries will be removed... I registered 4 beers, we'll see how we do. (Roggenbier, Helles, Chipotle Smoked Porter, Sour Wine Barrel Belgian Single).

Minny opened up for a second and I was able to sneak my barrel oud bruin and my kreik in.

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't see this comment until now. This is what I officially entered everything as:

    Gentleman Jack O'Lantern - 22C Wood-Aged Beer
Sweet Christmas Monkeys - 15C Weizenbock
ParadoxicAle - the dreaded Category 23
Snakebite - 28D Specialty Cider (tastes way more like cider than beer)

I'll be entering an imperial IPA, dubbel, and raspberry wheat beer. I also registered a hoppy tripel under Belgian Specialty, but it looks like that one's not going to be ready in time.
