    Alright,

Well i just got done making a dual temperature control for about 30$ it was a simple build and looks great.
But now i need to set it to the right temperature to cellar my beer.

I know cellaring temps are usually around 50-60 degrees.

So what does everyone have there Temperature Set value set at?
What Do you have your Difference Set value at?
What do you have your Compressor Delay time set at?

I live in indiana and my 7 foot chest freezer is out on my sun porch and it gets anywhere between 80-95 in june and july and anywhere from 50-10 degrees in the fall/winter.. Right now its usually around 45-70 right now..

    Thanks for your help!

I am using 54 for the set point, with a 1 degree diff, and a 15 minute delay. Right now the probe is just hanging in the air. Planning on putting it in a thermowell so opening the freezer door won't cause it to cycle on immediately. But I don't have the wide temp swings that you have. Shouldn't be a problem for you in the summer. The winter is another story. Don't want it getting too cold.

Here is a step by step guide how to do it.. cost about 30-40$ for a dual stage temp controller.. The only thing i changed about this is instead of a 2 gang electrical box i bought just a square electrical box.. IF you go to Lowes there are located right next to the 2 gang electrical boxes. They are blue just like the 2 gang except they aren't slanted at the bottom like the 2 gang.. they are just a box.. Gives the wires more room than the 2 gang IMO.. Hope this helps!

Thanks man. That looks slike a pretty simple build. Now I wonder if any of my aquarium buddies has a temp controller lying around I can take off their hands...
