Im a new brewer as of this Christmas and I was wondering if there are any good beer recipe building apps for android. To help me document my beer making recipes.

Honestly, the apps on Android I have found are difficult to use. BeerSmith is on there and good, but has its issues.

Honestly it is easier to do it on a computer/program that can print out an entire recipe with all the specs on it. On brew day trying to figure out exactly what you are doing on a tiny screen, taking notes on a touch screen, etc is really hard. I have an Excel spread sheet I made for my recipes and print out a double sided recipe sheet to take notes on. I have the program open on my laptop in the brewery and make adjustments based on efficiency and such. I only use the brewtimer app on Android for building the boil timer. I also have a couple others on there that I use for typical CO2 vols based on style, attenuation calculator, ABV calculator, and unit conversion (Metric to US), etc.

Well thanks again for your help. I guess I'll scrap the mobile app idea and use my laptop instead.

I don't think I brewmaster is on the android platform but if it is I like it.

I use the Beersmith app a lot. I spend a lot of time putting together recipes with it when I'm on the go. And is convenient to have on brew day. It is definetly easier on the computer, but I like the option and sometimes you don't have access to a computer. I recommend it, but everybody is different.
