I remember a few of these guys from the homebrew bif I did last year. It turned out great. I forget who shipped to me, but his brews were fantastic.

Looks like I now have the motivation to dial in that bottle filler.

June 1st is too early, I just won't be ready. Count me in for the next one though!

Excellent, can't wait. I got about 5 ready to go and a 6th ready to be bottled. I would some feedback feed back from whoever gets me, and don't hold back I can take it. I've been brewing for a little over a year now and continue to surprise myself how good things turn out, but I might be a little partial.

I'm with Al - I won't have 2 different homebrews available by June 1st, but if we can get another together in early July, I'm game.

i have 3 right now, a fourth in fermentation and plan on brewing another for big brew day.

so 88oz to one person? or wpuld it be we get 6-7 people and we ship one to two bottles to each peson?. either way id be interested.

lets up the ante and maybe include tasting notes and possibly recipe or something, or leave them otional for request. id be interested in havi g a few people taste mine and give me their feedback.

All my recipes, along with exact procedure details, are already, and will be for all future recipes, available online on my blog. I post them all as soon as I make them (I write them from my brewing checklist). I comment upon bottling and then post a pture upon tasting. If something goes wrong or comes out poorly, I'll also post that. I'm happy to provide feedback (constructive) and would love to receive the same.

I would go with any format youz mugs wanted, although my preference would be a single shipment, shotgun start, which included 88oz of homebrew and 44oz of locals, or something like that. I'd be game for just about anything though, I'm not really that picky, and haven't done a BIF since last year, so I'm anxious!

I'll be back home and brewing on may 5th, may 12th, then again as soon as another fermenter opens up, and again after that. I've got nine recipes in the queue! With two fermenters and one bottling bucket, I'm hoping to be able to keep up with my consumption and gifting so that I'll be drinking mostly or exclusively homebrew most of the time from here on out.

when this one is decided, PM me!

Any updates. Do we have a list of people who are in so we can maybe get this going?

With the addition of Agold and radiantdesigner we're sitting at 12 folks - 13 if AlC is in (i understood from above he'd rather wait for one later in the year and then saw his post above at 5:38pm....

I've send a PM to all the folks (inc. AlC) who have expressed interest. If I missed somebody, apologies - shoot me an PM and I'll follow up.

If you need more, I'd love to be in on this. I have some great brews, along with some strange experimental types. I'd send both of course!

If you don't need more I'll hit it up next time!

This thread made me think a Beeradvocate homebrew competition is in order.

I'm in, but I'm not thrilled on any of my offerings : (

I'm a new brewer and really only have my firs few batches available as they are all I've done since starting this Feb. They aren't terrible, however, and besides a stout on oak they are all AG. I'm really looking for pointers as far as where I need the most work to improve, and I'm right near Russian River so the commeccial beers I send will be great!

Hey you can send to me, I love RR! :grinning:

My homebrews are (so far) pretty good but I'm sure some of the more experienced guys will blow mine out of the water :grimacing:
