Homebrew Set Up Question

    Little bit late to the party here, but what's the benefit of using copper in this case instead of PVC? Seems like it would be a lot more expensive but I didn't know if there's some kind of huge benefit to using it here.

    One benefit would be that you get some trace copper into your wort, which is beneficial to fermentation. In my case, I get it from an immersion chiller. So I use a braid in my (no-sparge/batch-sparge) tun.
