I have a buddy who has 30+ varietals in his barckyard, 10 of which are not commercially available hops. I got the bulk of my rhizomes from him.

The drought and extreme heat really took a toll on my plants this summer, but I've got one Cascade going crazy, I've gotten a few ounces off it already, and some of the other Cascades have started recovering and are covered with burrs. I bought some plants from Great Lakes, they had 4 varieties of hot weather/drought tolerant hops. I got them in the ground just before the monsoons hit so they are all doing very well. Great Lakes doesn't sell rhizomes, they actually sell growing plants, but they are't any more expensive than a lot of the rhizomes I see for sale and you can buy them year round instead of waiting for the spring rush.
