I was wondering if anyone in the Chicago area knows anything about distribution of Hommage. Is it likely we will see any of this in distro?
Maybe? Shelton Bros is parting ways with it's distributor in Chicago, River North. They'll likely get another distributor soon, but for now we can expect very little Shelton Bros coming in.
I wouldnt hold your breath. Shelton hasnt sent an order to River North/Lakeshore Beverage in *months* and wont be anytime soon. As for them getting another distributor, it's complicated.
Ah...so, I'm guessing this is also why we get no Prairie. Also terrible news for any chance of any random Cantillon popping up in the area.
Especially when states try to pass laws, requiring beer sold at a brewery to go through distribution first. Allowing the distributor to decide how much and for what price, they want to sell it back to the brewery for. Way to go Florida
