Everyday I see these posts offering up brews that either aren't too limited or have been for the most part deemed "not as worthy as some others" and asking for brews that the community at large has said are the "most rare." Generally these posts include some caveat that goes something like "I know this probably won't get done" or "in case some BA is feeling really generous or outright goes crazy.". My question is how often do these actually get done and if they rarely ever or ever get done, why waste the time posting if the odds are slim to none? Just curious to see how people think in these regards

I think people assume a "new" "hype" beer can pull rarer stuff cause it's so in demand without researching bottle count, how often it's released, brewery only release, ratings blah blah. A lot of people just don't get it. Not saying some wont get done but imho people believe they have more than what they actually do.

If the person seems like a decent BA, I like trading with people ballsy enough to create a thread that goes against BA trader groupthink. I get a kick out of it.

my best advice, get regular trading partners. They usually go above and beyond and dont think of rarity as much if you have a constant shipping relationship. The ony way I get the stuff I get.
