I remember having Goose Island IPA as our go to beer in the Outer Banks in the late 90's and remember the beer as being from Maryland. Goose Island Brewery of course is in Chicago, and I seem to remember them buying a brewery or a merger/bankruptcy issue of some sort. Was this a dream I had, or was Goose Island based in some manner in Maryland back in the day?

You are probably thinking of Wild Goose brewing from Fredrick, MD. They've been through a couple names and I think they are currently known as Flying Dog.

Thanks Temp I think that might be it, but the label is spot on to Honkers.
