While I don’t mind seeing new brands come to the state, I can’t help but think “a few years too late” for most of them. It’ll fall in line with previous things where everyone buys them for a month or so and then they turd it up on shelves. Not hating, just stating the obvious.
They do some good stuff, and if I ever see South of Eleven, I will buy that. Otherwise, I can't keep up with New Anthem and Burial as it is these days. Add in the occasional cans from Bhavana, Heist, and Wilmington, I really don't see myself running to the bottle shop for some Hoof.
I know what you're saying because it does happen often, but I personally think Hoof Hearted's quality and brand recognition will make them an exception. For example, Revision consistently sells on this side of the state despite them being relatively new to the market and I would put Hoof Hearted in the same league. I'm guessing though that we're talking Eastern Carolina so I doubt I'll be seeing any HH out here in the West.
I drove by their brewery but they were closed, who would have thunk that I would be able to get it in NC! Looking forward to it!
Pretty tasty stuff, unfortunately they are brewing it up in NY now, and seems the quality has gone down just a little bit. Will probably just keep sticking to the New Anthem goodies. Loved the recent batch of Neon God.
I saw Everybody Wants Some in my local bottle shop last week and I am in Georgia. I got some in a trade awhile back and I really enjoyed it but at $20 a four pack, I passed this go around.
