Yup. I feel like the ticketed releases at Marengo have us spoiled. No way I'm going to this.

 

They mention the number of cases available-- 30 and 70. How many 500mL bottles are in a case? I'm guessing 12?

 

Count me as one who agrees. Very Hazy was incredible, and I really like Haze, but the rest I can take or leave. Trillium is SO damn good from everything I've had. Hoof Hearted gives me my TH type turbid IPA fix.

 

We agree on a lot. I love Haze and Very Hazy. As for the rest, I'd much rather drink what I can get locally.

 

Not to derail it to much, but loved Haze, but Julius is still my jam. That beer has an incredible nose and taste to it. Only had one Trillium beer but hope to get some more soon!

 

100% agree with you guys! Tree House is damn good, but every Trillium beer I've had was mindblowing or just plain awesome! Would take them over Tree House any day!

 

I don't think Koffury is a top 250 beer either.....anyhow, if you're not impressed by Jackie O's that's cool man. All the BA beers and Sours I've had have been really awesome. Each to their own though. Cheers!

 

Anyone know if the extra Wangbar cans will be for sale at the brewpub? Haven't seen anything on Facebook or Instagram yet but I could have missed something. Thought they had a fair amount of unsold tickets from the release.

 

they seem to be really good about posting if they do have some for sale. judging by the turnout and amount sitting on pallet I saw on Saturday, I would think they would have had leftovers, but then again, they haven't posted anything either. so, who knows?

 

Cappy's is releasing Wangbar in Cincinnati today 4 pm.

I am on a beer purchasing ban from my wife at the moment, so I'll have to pass.

 

I've been on that ban for a year now, and yet.....

 

Luckily for me she rarely restricts my hobby, but I had a long delayed trade come in this week, did an in person trade, and had a box of beer from Tavour come in.

The heat will be off in a few weeks, but for now I will respect her wishes.

I also have other things to do this evening, like enjoy a Tropicalia or Cosmik Debris.

 

Has anyone seen this event? Freedom Toast sounds Miracle Toast?

I think this was the working name for Miracle Toast. Should be the same.

My take is Koffury isn't even a top 2500 beer and I'd personally never buy it again. I passed on buying more at Wangbar as many others were. It's a decent beer but IMHO the hype around it is not justified. Beer tastes vary widely though so if you like it that's cool - drink what you like. I'll be trading 2-4pks in the FT:ISO soon so keep your eyes peeled if you dig it.

 

The Miracle Toast line is chugging along. Might be 50-70 people waiting already.

 

Four/pp with only ~40 cases doesn't sound like good odds for "late" comers. Hope nobody gets shut down because of mules.
