I have become a small batch junkie now.. every brewpub here (Bend Oregon) I rarely order now whats on the regular menu. Is this an addiction that will pass or am I screwed? BTW - Happy St Patty's Day.
From my experience it will pass. You will at some point find yourself not wanting anything new but an ole reliable if you will. This could take the form of a few staples of course but they will be readily available. When you finally find that go yo beer you will have a sort of epiphany. Dont get me wrong trying new unique stuff is great and excitingbut having a solid all year round beer you csn enjoy really makes the casual drinking experience better.
Sounds like my dating transition into marriage many years back .. except the latter I did stick with one and no sampling!
