Looks like BOM and the new milkshake are hitting the usually burbs spots for day 1.

 

Sounds like my review of Supergnarly Milkshake.

 

NDT has a ton of graham cracker. So much so that it starts to veer towards maybe a nutmeg/holiday spice flavor. It’s a very busy beer and I’m not sure it totally comes together in a satisfying way

huge graham on the nose, i love it. get a pie crumb/bakery vibe with a ton of fresh fruit. heavy berry with vanilla custard. i preferred the taste a little colder than room temperature. i can absolutely see the holiday spice reference as it warms and im not sure what i think of that. i dont hate it. im enjoying this one, lightyears better than super gnarly.

 

Struck out on the 2 More bottles yesterday but got the 2 HB cans today. I think I will enjoy these mOre. Can't wait to try them tonight. Happy Friday!

 

I messaged Justin to see how he got so much graham cracker flavor and he said they used graham cracker and cinnamon.

obviously, but we are far, far away from swinging of the pendulum. far, in fact!

i've bought less of their beers recently given the sweetness factor being dialed up, but, there's no disputing that they continue to be the top producer of regularly distributed hazies in the area.

 

I mean, I'm gonna keep drinking them but I guarantee you that the counter circle jerk is coming.

FR is starting to do Snoochies year-round, Pipeworks has hopped on the bandwagon (as have a million other brewers, let's be honest), and Phase Three has taken some of the silly hype away from HB beers (so that Phase Three sells out first, and you can grab an HB beer as a "concession"). The hazy scene is getting really, really great.
