Yeah, Hop Butcher said something on social media that they are releasing Blazed Orange the "OG version" or something like that, and I didn't know whether they meant the original (hazy, non-milkshake IPA) Blazed Orange, or the real original (clear, non-lactosy IPA) Blazed Orange.

    Agreed!
My tavern Cut said "Smitten with the Mitten" on the bottom of the can so hopefully they remain smitten

Does it say where it was canned?

Can date? Also, what western Michigan city? You don’t have to give up your honey hole, just wondering how close I am.

We've started seeing some Hop Butcher downstate because a local business is picking it up. I approve of this.

Ohh I’m not that guy... Always willing to share. Horrocks in Kentwood is my go-to shop. That’s where I was able to snag the cans. 8/31 canning date.

    Cheers!

Tried to get today's drops at two stores and was late both times. Who can leave their house at 10:30am to go buy these beers?

I arrived at my local binnys today around 1:30. Greener moss has two four packs left, around four cases of blazed orange. Surprised it wasn't the other way around.

The one positive aspect that has come out of this pandemic...now if Beer Cellar would move to singles I’d be set

Unfortunately I’m not so sure about that These days. Look at the market, find me a examples of flagship beers thriving. Or even annual seasonals that outperform first time releases or one offs.

Many people just want a new label and a new check in.

I agree. But...I mean, when there's a one-off that blows me away and they don't turn it into a flagship, what am I supposed to buy next week? Problem is they choose the wrong flagships a lot of the time because they want a nice moderate beer that appeals to a broader audience. Then I buy that flagship and say, "That's it? This is what everyone is raving about?" and never buy it again because I don't taste anything but water unless it's hopped to the 10's, plays nice as a double/triple, or is bourbon barrel aged all to hell...
