Not going to lie, I’m a pretty big fan of cold crunch. Very nice tart lemonade up front, with a subtle vanilla sweetness on the finish. One of their better milkshakes in a long time.

Beer Hall was pretty meh though. Been drinking a lot of marzens/festbiers this year, and this one has a lot more hop bite/bitterness than I would prefer

I got strong lemon meringue pie vibes from it...it was a little too much for me, overall, but it was certainly interesting!

Dirt Bath was a very pleasant stout if you love hazelnut as much as I do. Also...dangerously drinkable at 10.5%.

Cold Crunch was a nice surprise especially when I was dreading a Lemony Fresh milkshake type thing.

Dirt Bath starts well but finishes with an unpleasant harshness on the backend. Plan to sit on the rest in hopes of it mellowing.

same, mine was super astringent on the backend and poured brown. undrinkable. guess it was a sediment issue with some cans. send 'em an e-mail: info@hopbutcher.com

@croush did they get back to you yet?

Curious on what they made right as I seem to have those cans. Should I burden myself and email them so it can be made right?

Didn’t get any off flavors in dirt bath. There’s some bakers chocolate bitterness in the back end but it tastes very hazelnut-forward the couple I’ve had. Did they address the brown comment? Not sure what color a stout is supposed to be

lol that'd be nice. heard the brewers 6pack is all BA grisettes

they are replacing the 3 cans I have left with new ones.

theres been some variance just from looking at pictures on untappd. from what i know it was a sediment issue. So maybe too much got into some cans giving it that color, bitter harshness and almost metallic quality. Ive had some gnarly pours out of the bottom of heavily adjuncted kegs, doesnt suprise me it could happen while canning.

If you look at HB beers on untapped and scroll all the way to the bottom, new stuff usually shows up there a couple weeks before release.

Sometimes on Untappd, or business owners get the ordering forms a few weeks in advance. Satan's Miles dropped a 3-4 years ago if I recall, the ABV was 6.66 supposedly.
