Seriously, if HB made this a bi-monthly or so flagship, ie: pixel density or mike check, I would probably pick it up every time.

Stoked. Riwakamania has been my favorite hazy beer that came out this year.

Been trying to find info on a American Solera colab. I know Solera is releasing Infrequent Flyer Program in Tulsa this week. Any info on a possible Chicago release?

Really enjoying Farmed Fresh. Has that initial tropical/juicy taste I expect from HB but finishes with a west-coast style bitterness that I can't recall getting in one of their beers before. Good stuff, glad I grabbed a 4-pack.

Reading "west-coast style bitterness" made me go out and grab a 4 pack.

The huge but manageable bitter back end balances out the front half of
The beer. More enjoyable than their straight
Sugar bombs, but the lasting bitterness makes me wonder if I was chewing on hops.

Interesting, can't say I recall them doing a barleywine before.

you skipped right over the important detail that they put some away in a pappy barrel!

So that’s what they’ve been doing squirreling all this money away for the past 3 1/2 years instead of opening a taproom.
    Buying Pappy barrels.

How about that? A rare four spot from us next week in the form of three new ones and one returning. In the corner of "new," Thematic Glow is a Citra & Rakau-hopped hazy DIPA and the culmination of years of our team wanting to rock a glow in the dark label, but being unable to do so given the printing limitations of the shrink-wrapped cans we put our beer in. Well...we figured it out and we're beyond stoked to get this hop combo into your hands AND have you try drinking it in the dark!

Beer #2 is our second collab beer with our brothers at Aslin Beer Co. (The first, of course, being Stealing Signs from fall of '18.) Get your karate on IN THE GARAGE!

Beer #3 is Candlebright, a delicious straight-shooter of a barleywine. Perfect weather these days for a beer like this one. We may or may not have tucked some of this beer away in Pappy barrels, so should be a fun little blast from the past come 12-18-24 months from now! But, for now, enjoy this non-adjuncted gem from the can.

Last, but certainly not least is a quick-fire on an unexpected tank of Airglow, our hazy Strata-only-fired pale ale. Stoked are we to finally get our hands on a new year's crop of (possibly) our favorite all-around hop. Dig in, friends!

Our usual special thanks to all of you out and about picking up Beef Dipped and Milkstachio this week! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

    Cheers!

Based on their description on the website, it appears this will be an English barleywine, not an American barleywine, which makes me very happy. Hop-forward barleywines are decidedly NOT my jam.

    Flavors: Caramel, Dark Fruit, Barley

I tried this last night, first HB beer in a while.

Really enjoyed it, thought it was a very nice straight up BW. My BW palate is decidedly used to BA BWs nowadays, but there used to be a time where I loved a straight up non-BA BW. This hit all the three mentioned flavor marks for me. Lots of caramely/toasted barely up front that gave way to a rich dark fruit flavor.

    Very nice beer.

"And just like that, we're at the end of another year with the coming week marking the return of Double Blazed Orange Milkshake. In the spirit of trying to ensure that everyone who wants some can get some, we're proud to share that this batch will be the biggest single batch of beer in the history of the brewery. SO beyond stoked to get back to this beer again and we hope you are too."

    Awesome.

I still don't understand how I'm competing for beers I like with people who drink DBOM....
