Beef Sipped has a pro-Joe Burrow message on the bottom of the can that I'm 100% into.

    Go Bengals!

Also, I enjoy the pun of the beer title, and the can artwork that plays into it.

Going to be coming into the area for some work this Friday/Saturday. Any recs on where I can find some of this elusive brew? We've been getting some trickling in here in Mid-Michigan. Thanks for any help! Cheers!

What area specifically are you going to? South Loop Binnys should be good on Friday

I'll be downtown Friday then heading up to Winnetka, but can drive anywhere in the metro area.

South loop Binny’s is a good bet. If no luck downtown, the Binny’s in Skokie (right off the highway) is my go-to when driving home from work. It’s on the way to Winnetka.

also! Look at local bottle shops in the city that do online ordering…you could order then pick it up. Easy peasy. If you wanna do singles and try a bunch of different stuff, try either Beermiscuous location….and they, of course, do online ordering.

Hopbutcher sits in the shelf in the Glencoe Binnys aka the forgotten Binnys. It’s literally 1 ft over the village line from Winnetka.

They've really increased their production in the last year or so. I'm seeing bigger stacks at Binnys on release day, but other local breweries are also pumping out better beer. Brothership brewing comes to mind. I really liked their Nectar on Max a wee bit better than Narragansett Ridge.

Found some just where it was stated, Beermiscuous and the Binny's near Winnetka. Picked up a couple from Brothership to try as well. Thanks folks!

There was one year when ICBG took all the IMBIBE members to 5 Rabbits. Since then, I have glanced at its location and shaken my head. :stuck_out_tongue:
There is not any public transit within a reasonable distance at the typical time you would want to visit there. You could not find a less accessible transit address in a Chicago-adjacent suburb. :frowning2:
Unless you are like some of the U.K. beer webloggers I am perusing who are (astonishingly) willing to walk multiple miles to reach a pub listed in this year's "Good Beer Guide". :open_mouth:
If people have to drive in order to visit your location, you are slicing off a significant chunk of your prospective business. With inflation soaring, people are not going to want to have to call Lyft | Uber and spend another $20-$50 to get back from there.
    {There is a potential good trade-off for Hop Butcher. The edifice adjoins a still-active freight train line which could be put to use if the brewery gets a good deal on, say, a boxcar full of 16-oz. cans.}
Binny's Beer searcher is quite good at finding specific beers at each of its locations. Look at 'Chicago - South Loop', but click on the link to check all stores also. The pop-up also shows the telephone number for each store.

If anyone is still looking for Blazed Orange, its on the shelf at Union Beer Store in Little Havana in Miami!

I was shocked to see Hop Butcher down here!

Screw Blazed Orange! I’d be drinking Hatuey as much as possible. That is one tasty beer.

I believe this was released in December, it's probably hitting the tail end of freshness at this point. I wouldn't go chasing NEIPA's that are over 3 month old, ya'll. Sorry to be a buzz kill.

Hatuey is actually a Cuban beer(but not really brewed in Cuba) mostly just available in little Havana. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh I certainly didn't buy the Blazed Orange - lol, I am drinking far fresher Hop Butcher any other week of the year.

I've seen Half Acre and Hubbards Cave/Une Annee in Riverside Market/Craft Beer Cartel in FLL if that's relevant to your interests mate.

That place looks cool - but we were staying in Miami, so too far to make it up there. Thanks though!

Derp, new here - just noticed the Illinois in your bits. Miami's my old neck of the woods, we moved to Chicago literally a week before J Wakefield opened. Hope you had a good time mate!
