Hop Drop & Roll

I wonder if that was my mom She had one over at my house the other weekend and loved it...called me the next day asking where she could buy some...I sent her to Brawleys but no way she would spring for a case...it would take her 24 weeks to finish

 

What are the chances I can score some of this on a Tuesday at the brewery? I'm driving north and can spend one night in NC, and debating between NODA for Hop Drop n Roll, or hitting Wicked Weed in Asheville...such a dilemma

 

Some WW stuff is in stock, Serenity, Brett, Genesis, not in short supply at all. If NoDa has some grab it.

 

I would suggest calling NoDa. I feel fairly certain Wicked Weed has some goods on hand. There's a bunch of Wicked Weed at Bestway in Greensboro. That just might fit your route if you come through Charlotte, (NoDa), up I-85.

 

Appreciate the advice! I've never had anything from NoDa or Wicked Weed, so I plan to hit one or the other for dinner and a couple brews. Feel like I can't really go wrong

 

Pretty sure they typically can it either Monday or Tuesday so you've actually got a pretty good chance. In fact I just picked up some today at a store that was canned today, so they really are canning and delivering it as fast as possible. There are several places around Charlotte where you can grab Wicked Weed bottles and pours as well.

 

Unless you're turning west on 40, Asheville is a pretty far way out of the way from any of the northbound interstates. WW has a lot of stuff at the taproom that isn't bottled/available readily, but I'd personally suggest stopping off at NoDa, picking up some HDR (and try the rest of their stuff, they have plenty of good stuff) and stopping off at one of the bottle shops in Charlotte or Bestway in Greensboro to pick up some WW bottles. And if you're so inclined Birdsong (another brewery) basically shares a parking lot with NoDa.
