hop farming

    friend of mine and I are getting our ducks in a row to start farming hops on a semi large scale..1/4 acre to start. just registered for a seminar/hop tour from MSU extension

    anyone out there doing some large scale hop farming??if so whats your set-up? Hgh/low trellis..variety..yields..etc.

    I just put 11 crowns in the ground this year, along with about 15 cuttings that a fellow homebrew friend got started for me in planters from his plants. Hopefully one day my hop yard will grow to a small commercial size so I can sell to some local nano breweries.
