Looks like Bells is now brewing a beer called Hop Grandslam that is available draft only at the Eccentric Cafe. Bells posted, "If Hopslam loads the bases, Hop Grandslam hits it out of the park. Taking the base recipe of Hopslam, Grandslam kicks it up a notch for a slightly higher ABV of 10.5%, with increased bitterness and aroma". I haven't been able to find much information on it. Has anyone else stumbled upon this?

Heres the tap list at the Eccentric Cafe containing Hop Grandlslam:

I've had it a couple times now. Very good beer, the fruits come out pretty well. Wouldn't mind doing a side by side but regular Hopslam kicked right before this was put on.

I'd love to try this, but have no plans to be near Kalamazoo anytime soon.

I know one place that isn't the Eccentric Cafe that has it .

Wonder if it will start showing up in kegs around other parts as well.

I wouldn't hold my breath. They said taproom only to anyone who asked on FB. But I suppose one can hope.

Hey, if somewhere in Indy is getting it, then it seems like there is a chance to get it here as well.

I doubt this helps the Midwest much, but Tennessee got a couple kegs only and one of those kegs made it outside of Nashville where I got to try it. So I'm gonna assume other states will receive shipments but in very very small quantities..

Love that more people got to try it, but hilarious when the Bells rep we talked to said they only made like 4 kegs of it and said lansing got one, somewhere else got one, and bells kept 2.

none the less. it was damn good. replace hopslam with grandslam please.

I had it at an restaurant/brewpub called Brewhouse in Franklin TN which is just outside of Nashville. They just added it in their keg rotation and said it was one of two kegs that made it down to Tennessee. It was not even like it was a Bell's event or Bell's Tap takeover that was one night only. I went back yesterday and they still had some left. I didn't even know about Bell's Hop Grandslam before I saw people reviewing it on Untapped. If Bell's only had 4 kegs of it, there would be no way in hell that the state of Tennessee would get two of them.....

Exactly. Just another example of a rep spouting info that doesn't seem to add up.
