Hop Hunter Ny/Nj

Bigfoot is out there in Peerless territories.

 

Bigfoot 2015 came in early January on Long Island, and considering how we are always late on releases it must be in Nj by now.

 

Seen Bigfoot all over nw nj. Also picked up a case of hop hunter at shop rite liquors in Chester. Super fresh and had a few cases left.

 

Only saw Hop Hunter in one store so far, and haven't seen Bigfoot at all this year. Weird.

 

Hmmmm. I guess some parts of jersey haven't gotten much...I've been seeing it in a few stores for weeks now

 

I got a 6 pack yesterday in Chatham. Get this the bottling date is 03/031/15 just 10 days ago.SN beers always seem to be 6/8 weeks old in NJ. My Nooner is dated 12/19/14. SNPA dated 01/19/15. I guess the Hop Hunter is from Mills River NC.

 

Sierra Nevada's date coding system includes the brewery site - C = Chico / M = Mills River

Yeah, I'm surprised at how much "C" Chico SN beers we're still getting in NJ - like the 12 pk/cans of Nooner I picked up last week, but canned on 12/31.

Still have yet to find any Hop Hunter down here in Shore Point or Hub City distro regions.

 

I have to proof read my posts. It was bottled on 03/03 not 03/31 lol.I got a 6 of bottles and don't see a c or m anywhere on the bottles or the 6 pack holder. It does have the time of bottling 1:45. I guess it's on the case. Peerless handles SN where I live and the stores just got it in yesterday.

 

The 'C' or 'M' is not part of code stamped on rear label in white ink. It is part of the code stamped in black ink directly on the bottle, near the shoulder (and so above the labels). It is also on cases and 12 packs, but not on the sixpack basket.

Almost impossible to read cut it's a C.

 

Torpedo = Mucho better.

 

It shipped wide in NJ yesterday. I had it on tap a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The bottle I'm having now has a very thin mouthfeel. It's almost like a Lite IPA, if there was such a thing. Aromas and flavors are intense but the thin body is throwing me off...
