I am about a third of the way through my second bottle of the evening and I am realizing all over again how much I freaking love this beer! It should be in the discussion of the truly great examples of the style along with Sculpin, Green Flash or whatever else is considered the best of the best. I love that kind of prune/rasin note in the finish that is unique to this IPA. Any discussion of the pinacle of IPA brewing has to include Anderson Valley's version. Who's with me? Man this stuff is going down good tonight!
I can't put it with the best of the best, but it's really good and underappreciated. Gotta love the can/bottle option as well..
Hop Ottin is about the furthest thing from Sculpin. And definitely not in the same conversation of "best of the best" IPA's. But hey, to each their own. Cheers
