Hop Slam in Indianapolis

It was supposed to be in Bloomington Wed then Sahara Mart said next week. I didn't see any postings from Kahn's that they got it in.

 

The word in the Hopslam thread from Bells sources is that next week is when it hits Indiana, so the announcement is consistent with what has been posted elsewhere.

Well, that's because Indiana is getting less than last year. World Class got a delivery last week but it wasn't their full allotment. They decided to wait until the second shipment arrived before giving allocations numbers since otherwise they would've had to cut numbers and not everyone would've gotten it at once. So, it should arrive at Kahn's on Monday, 75 cases.

 

Great - the day after the Super Bowl. My first Hopslam was a random single I bought in a Mix 6 for the 2012 Super Bowl.

 

I don't understand how San Diego gets this beer before Indy? Any idea why this is guys?

 

my ONLY guess is that since Cali is a new-ish market for Bells that they made it a priority to get it there.....i'm probably completely wrong as per usual.....

 

Honestly I thought that too. Any other reason would be ridiculous. Haha

 

Once again, Indiana's "lack of pull" rears its ugly head. We are in a really small beer market and unfortunately dwarfed by all of our neighbors, let alone west coast states.
