Hello. Has anyone heard if HS mini-kegs will be available this year? While usually a bit pricey, I would love a few for special occasions. Thanks.
Didn't Bells have a lot of problems with these a few years back? I don't think they did them last year because of it. I could be totally wrong though.
I would imagine Hop Slam will be in mini kegs this year. In my area, I have seen a few Bells brews show up in mini kegs.
I'm about to meet with my Bell's rep in about a half hour here, I'll ask him and see if he has any coming in or knows if they are going to be available. I'll report back when I find something out.
They definitely weren't available last year, but I bought a couple in 2011. They were around $32 each if I remember correctly. I loved trading em, you didn't really have to wrapped the hell outta them.
No mini kegs this year...Even tho they have more production, they want to stretch the liquid as far as they can, so more bottles, no mini kegs for the second year in a row. They are shipping on Monday the 7th, so the U.P. should be seeing them on the shelves by Friday or Monday the 14th...

I think he means a few different batches...I think they had three different batch releases last year, if you feel like sifting thru the reviews, I'm sure you can verify the three dates without typing in every batch from Dec. to March...but yes, a few different releases.
