Hop Stoopid Getting Stoopid Expensive

    Went up to $5.50 in Spokane recently. Still a great value, although I have been buying less of it.

    Same here, usually old, except 3.99 - 4.50.

    There's better out there, but at Bestway I know they're as fresh as possible.

    $5 or less in the metro west area of MA. venture out.

    I do not see what everyone likes in this beer, though. Not my style of IIPA I guess, as I won't even buy it for $5.

    I got 2 bottles for 2.99 about 2 months ago. I haven't been back to that store as the only thing I would buy from them is the 2.99 hop stoopid.

    It's still $4.49 in St. Louis, but it seems as if it was about $3.59 last year. Still a bargain. Too many $10 bombers around here.

    Texas reporting in! Lagunitas bombers still under $5. Even at the gas station Hop Stoopid is usually $4.99 or $5.49. Sometimes more in the $3 range on sale (Specs has a lot of Lagunitas sales, especially near the holidays)

    Ive noticed Lagunitas 6packs going up by a buck or 2 around Boston.

    Hope when they get the Chicago operation going we'll start seeing 12-packs @ stores here. 12 packs of competitively priced IPA would be a regular in my fridge.

    Yeah, it must be the stores in your area "getting wise" about charging people a lot for other-wise affordable good beer! We have the same problem in our town. We're 100 miles from Firestone's Brewery and there are stores here that are charging $50 for a bottle of Parabola! >( Makes me want to vomit when I think about it!!!

    Still $4.49 at Whole Foods here. Probably don't buy it as often as I should. I think I just find it difficult to drink the whole bomber in one sitting with all the hops and sweetness.

    Yeah, saw it on sale for $4.50 today in Mead...I just don't know how to check the date on it and didn't really need it so...

    Edit: A search says Julian dates...didn't see one on it though.

    It's $5.49 here in SFL, most places would do it for $4.50-$4.99 but it seems to be increasing in a lot of places. Saw up to six at one store.. Sad world.
