Opened a Pollination last night and saw the name "Stephen" under the cap. Anyone know the backstory? Names of the brewers (I also have a "Kevin"), or did they just name my beer for me? I could contact the brewery, but this seemed more fun, and they're running a bit behind on their website remodel (ETA Aug 1st!), so I thought that might not be the best way to get a hold of them.
I don't know. I keep meaning to ask whenever I'm over at the new tasting room, but it always slips my mind. The bottle of Czech your head I bought a couple months back said "Rosemary" under the bottle cap. I thought it referenced the herb (arguably, there was a slight rosemary flavor to the beer), but now I'm thinking it's a name as well.
The names are of longtime mug club members. Some of the ones that have been coming in since they opened up in 2009. At least that's what the names were before they moved to the new facility. I feel like it still holds true though. Hope that helps
