Fair enough, but I want my own freezer dedicated to hops! :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the heads up - didn't know you can preorder.

I have purchased hops all over the internet in the last couple of years - can someone remind me how Farmhouse packages their hops again - are they thick 1lb mylar bags that have been flushed/vaccum packed, or do they use the thin bags?

The longer I brew the pickier I get - not worth my time and effort to use mediocre hops no matter how good the deal. A few years ago I went with Hopsdirect and was not impressed at all with the quality.

I've been digging Morebeer.com lately for their freshness as they seem to do a really good job with packaging - and they pack in smaller sizes. $$$ is not too much of a concern, but quality of the hops over the next year is. The 2oz packages of citra I bought from them last year are still in great shape - the 1lb. bag of Simcoe that I bought from elsewhere (I thought it was Farmhouse) that I just opened weren't. I guess I could buy a few month's supply from Farmhouse, then get the hops I intend to use next fall from morebeer.
