Nice comparison- know what I'm ordering the next time I'm in the brewpub... which will now likely be this week! Cheers!

Sometimes Uncle Teddies Bitter is also on Nitro, and to my surprise its pretty darn tasty!

I have yet to have a beer improved by Nitro.

IMO, this beer has greatly improved in recent years. Its a better version of Celebration than Celebration is these days. ;-)

I had it on Nitro late last year & enjoyed it. But then again I've been liking this beer alot in any format recently after ignoring it for over 5 years.

Always have a soft spot for this beer - essentially it got me interested in hop-forward beers in the early 00's.

I had it on nitro at the brewpub a few weeks back and enjoyed it. Wouldn't take it over the normal version (which I think is one of most underrated IPA's readily available right now), but makes for a nice change of pace.

I find this to be mostly true as well. I've had Racer 5 on nitro and while decent, it lacked the zip of the regular tap version. Cask and nitro just make pale ales (and other lighter, high to moderately carbed beers) just lose their punch with the mouthfeel, it takes away the crispness and makes them too soft on the tongue for me. Now if we're talking about higher gravity porters/stouts/quads/etc, I'm all for it. In fact one of my favorite beers I've ever had was from nitro, Bourbon Octagon, a BBA quad by local brewpub Iron Hill.
