Hoppin Frog Barrel Aged BORIS

I loved this beer and think it's probably worth it if you haven't tried it.

 

Yeah, I think it's worth it. Esp if you've never tried it.

 

Hoppin Frog should make nothing but stouts, buy it!

 

I have a bottle in the basement I really want to drink but I've been advised to age it. Thoughts?

 

Personal preference ... I like bourbon beers fresh generally, but a lot of people like them with age.

 

I do too. Say, KBS I love fresh and 2011 BCBS was great. Past years of BCBS I love with age. Most were too hot at the time of release.

 

Just called Casanova they are sold out of BA Naked Evil and BA Boris it didn't last through the day Chicone's didn't receive any of both. I need to check my Twitter everyday!!!!!!!!

 

Did any other stores get it in Hudson?

 

I stopped at 'Nova today about 1:00 and there were still several bottles of BA Boris, but I suppose they could have gone later in the day. BA Naked Evil was indeed gone.

 

Definitely NOT sold out of BA BORIS at Casanovas.
Definitely sold out of BA Naked Evil. That went quick.

 

I saw a post here once that I thought was wise: don't age it if you've never had it fresh.
That said, I haven't always been able to make myself follow that wisdom.
