To late Hoppin Frog ! I wanted to really enjoy some of this (96 rating) but you release this beer in the beginning of April and it finally shows up in the burbs of Chicago 2 months later. I have bought some of your undated IPAs in the past and they were past their prime. I was looking forward to this one,but after seeing it on the shelves I passed, maybe next year if you can deliver when its still fresh.

    End of drunkin rant.

And it's $10 which is just ridiculous for a ipa. I am sick of paying that for a dipa, let a lone a ipa!

Hoppin Frog is loving there IL distributors right now.

I'm guessing they didn't ship the product two months after bottling...

Was a solid beer but nothing incredible. Probably wouldn't buy it again myself. Bottle dates would be nice indeed. You'd figure if they are charging as much as they are, they could afford a bottle coder.

$7.99 here and I personally thought it was excellent.

Likewise $8 here and I loved it. I've had it within the last two weeks and IMO it has held up really well. It brought GLBC Alchemy Hour to my mind.

Alchemy Hour was very tasty. Maybe I'll try one.

I know what you are saying mean. Mean Manalishi and Hop Damn are both excellent, fresh. It's a freaking crap shoot trying to find them fresh. With the BA Boris they change the cap color, but not the IPAs. Awesome. All IPA's are not good when they age more than a few months. I thought Gangsta IPA was decent, but fwiw I found Alchemy Hour to be wanting and dissimilar. Man, taste is really subjective.

I just saw a case at my bottle shop! I thought they might've been stragglers from the last batch so i was hesitant to buy it. I'll be picking that up tomorrow for sure.

$9 around me and I thought I was pretty good, was hoping for more but can't complain. I agree they should have bottle dates theirs no reason why breweries don't do this.
