Got this in an email and also on Ohio Beer blog....

Hoppin' Frog Brewery will release its Karminator Imperial Dopplebock aged in port barrels starting at noon Saturday (Feb. 14) exclusively at its Akron Tasting Room.
This is the first time that Hoppin' Frog has used port barrels, owner and brewer Fred Karm said.
It's a limited release and there are only 300 bottles available. The price of a 22-ounce bottle was still being determined Monday morning. The beer, which is 9.3 percent alcohol by volume, also will be sold on draft.
Karm called the dopplebock and port "a perfect combo." "The flavors of the Karminator and the port are really similar so that makes them a good match," he said.

Port and doppelbock strikes me as on odd combination. I would like more barrel-aged doppelbocks but perhaps it is good this one will be tough to find.

Based on their other pricing I'm guessing $35.

If it's even close to being as good as BA Naked Evil, then I am nabbing one! That's one of the only beers that I didn't feel guilty spending $20 on.

I've had mixed results with wine barrel aged beer. Some pretty good, some drain pours. I can't recall any that was exceptional. Certainly nothing in the BA Naked Evil category.
