Hey all. I've got a buddy from Ohio who's coming to visit. I want to bug him to find some Hoppin Frog (I can get only a couple flavors here in central NY). What do you have in your area? Pretty much always around here nowadays: BORIS DORIS BA BORIS Silk Porter Hoppin' to Heaven IPA Goose Juice Hop Heathen Black IPA Also around right now are: Frog Hops to (and from) Amager collabs Frosted Frog Christmas Oktoberfest (no idea why I've been seeing it lately) I'm sure there are others that will vary from store to store. If your buddy lives near the brewery they supposedly have something like 20 different styles atm.
I don't know what they have down in Akron, but I see a shit ton of them around me. Natasha Rocks and Goose Juice are two I can think of now.
Where's he coming from in OH? If he's near Akron, have him go to the brewery (or maybe it's been recently shipped out again) and have him get you some Naked Evil Belgian-style Barley Wine. It's superb!
Yep - what NABS said - if they're going to be that close have them stop by and see what's available. There are often some goodies to be found.
