Do you think any of these hops would work well in a saison?
    - Caliente
    - Apollo
    - Ahtanum
    - Super Galena
    - Glacier
    - Palisades

I suppose any of them could. But what kind of flavor/aroma are you looking for? (I notice there are no noble hops, which would be traditional, on your list.)

To be honest, I'm not really sure what I'm going for. Just wanted to hear a few opinions because as you said I don't really have any traditional hops on hand.

I intend to use some rye malt in the recipe, don't know if this would change anything.

IMO any citrusy/fruity hop would work, esp as a later addition or dry hop. A more floral hop would also work.

Just made a rye saison 2 weeks ago but haven't tasted it yet. Wanted to do a Raging bitch type but with farmhouse saison yeast. This was my hop schedule. My first Raging bitch try a while back I used Allegash double and Unibrue Maudite dregs and made a starter and it came out really nice. Thought I'd see how Wyeast 3711 did this time around.
If I were to use Apollo I'd use an oz or less.

1.5 oz Magnum whole leaf 60
½ oz Nugget whole leaf 60
¼ oz Northern Brewer pellet 20
2 oz Cascade whole leaf 5
1/8 oz Sterling whole leaf 5
1 oz Centennial whole leaf 5

No matter what, don't make my rookie mistake and think that the hops in a saison are going to be as pronounced as in an American pale ale. My 4th batch I wasted 4 ounces of Sorachi Ace hops in a saison. The hops didn't come through at all because I didn't factor in the fact that a saison yeast has much more character than us-05.

Ahtanum would work. They're citrusy with an earthiness. The earthy flavor fades quickly, the citrus notes don't.
