Are there any BA's fond of cigars? I tend to gravitate towards strong Ales, IPA's, and formidable Imperial IPA's, and am looking for nice matches to compliment cigars. Any suggestions of good matches. I recently smoked a Pinar Del Rio Reserve with a bomber of Hop Henge, and it was pure heaven until I reached the tail end. Any ideas/suggestions for matches?

When I had vintage BCBS on tap I got a cigar to go with my last pour before we left it was pretty awesome so I guess my suggestion would be to try some RIS's and Bourbon Barrel aged stouts. Marshal Zhukov's comes to mind as well, from......you guessed it Cigar City.

I suck at pairing cigars, but since you mentioned hop henge, there is a hop infused cigar out there called hopz. Ignore the incoming "cigars ruin the taste and aroma of beer, blasphemy grrr!" threads.

Mild cigars usually won't stack up well with a good beer, just like a mild beer won't go well with a strong cigar. Most medium-full cigars will give you a lot of pepper or chocolate (sometimes both), so I'd just go with a beer that wouldn't taste off with those flavors. For example, if you have a very peppery, full-bodied Nicaraguan cigar, a full-bodied IPA or DIPA wouldn't taste weird with an extra pepper kick. A chocolatey, earthy maduro would go well with an Imperial Stout. I made the mistake recently of smoking a Nub Habano with DFH Noble Rot—not a good matchup.
