Think these will work? (the recipe is 90% two row with cara30, dextrine and acid malt)

1 oz columbus at 20 minutes
    1oz chinook at 5 minutes
1 oz centennial at 5 minutes

About 50 ibus and an og of 1.060. I will be using us05

Is there any reason to try to boil the columbus longer for bittering or will 20 minutes work? I could put half an ounce in earlier.

There's no need for a 60 minute addition if you're getting your IBUs later in the boil. Everything looks fine to me, although I'd personally be inclined to throw another oz or two of centennial in there at some point after the boil is over if you're not planning on a dry hop. I like my pales to be pretty hoppy for the style though.

Also, I assume you're using software and know your water profile if you're including acid malt?

I think that looks fine. 50 IBUs seems high for those hops and times, but I haven't used a calculator.

    Why the acid malt?

Sounds good to me, as long as you are hitting the ibus you are looking for

I find that in spite of what the calculator says getting all IBU from late in the boil is no where near as bitter as if you do a 60 min bittering charge. That is not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you want out of the beer.

I will do 30 min boils with a hop schedule like yours. I just adjust my efficiency down a little to compensate for less sparge water.

I have been using the acid malt in my beer and have noticed i get better conversion on the mash. A lot of people in my area have to use it. I have no idea what the water profile does but it seems to work.

I used brew cipher for this. I may throw in half an ounce of columbus at 50 or 60 minutes then add another ounce at 5 minutes

I am brewing a Zombie Dust clone this weekend and using 2oz acid malt along with phosphoric acid to reduce the pH into the desired range. When I have a recipe with most lot light malts, acid is beneficial for my water. I use Bru N Water myself to do all my water additions.

The IPA I just finished used phosphoric only, but I decided to try a little acid malt this time around with the phosphoric.

Yeah, if you know your water, then acid malt might make sense. Frequently people post recipes here that include mineral additions or acid malt without knowing their water. Seeing no mention of water calculations led me to ask.
