    The problem with Hopslam is it doesn't even get to Fla till its 5-6 weeks old. It has no doubt dropped off by then. Five six years ago we used to get it much fresher.

    Greens - both Assembly and Piney Grove - had theirs on sale yesterday (1/29) yesterday in Columbia, SC. Morganellis will sell theirs startng Saturday, and no word on when Total Wine will release it.

    Dated 1/10 on the bottles.

    Hit in charleston - house of brews is the only place advertising they had it. 4pk a person. I would assume Cbx will be soon and so on and so on.

    Going on sale at Green's (Greenville) and GBX tomorrow (Saturday 1/31) at noon. Green's will also have growler fills.

    As of early this afternoon, Total Wine and Community Tap still had some.

    What I would like to know is how does anyone anywhere know when beer from Michigan hits the floor of wholesalers across many different states? Hop Slam doesn't leave Michigan via convoy en masse and split up to various wholesalers in different states. Normal,shipping patterns of product delivers Hop Slam the same as any Bells product. Tryon does as well as anyone I'm sure. Sometimes Hop Slam comes in more than one shipment and the wholesaler waits to consolidate for a single day of release.

    If anyone in charleston would like 4 bottles, BM me. I grabbed a six, drank one, and am happy to trade the other 4 away. It's not that it's not good, it's just not doing it for me right now. I've been on a stout kick and am just not feeling it right now.

    Greenville Total Wine is out. I got some at Greenville Whole Foods, not sure how much is left. All out in Crafted in Simpsonville.

    Bell's has been picked up by Cavalier. Spoke to my rep on Wednesday, and I am expecting/hoping to get Hopslam in next week from them. The good news for us SoFloridians is that Cavalier will be bringing in a lot of the beers Bell's makes that don't make it down to our market. So call it a win even if there is a short delay in Hopslam's launch.

    Had it for the first time at a "keg tap party" last night at a local bottle shop. Hmmmm....very underwhelmed. It was very good and would never pass it up if handed to me...but...so many great IPAs out there that are better? IMHO...
